Art unveiled at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health

On November 20, Keep Memory Alive donors and dignitaries gathered to celebrate the unveiling of a 10-by-20-foot oil on canvas painting by the great American pop-artist James Rosenquist. The painting was commissioned for Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health by Steve Wynn and is titled Cervello Spazio Cosmico, which is translated as “brain space.”

While the Rosenquist piece is a permanent fixture in the Events Center, there are other significant works of art on display that are available for purchase. The Keep Memory Alive Art Consignment Program allows artists to display their works at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, while profits from the sale of artwork support Keep Memory Alive. The ongoing generosity of artists ensures that the Center’s art exhibit is fresh and that important works of art are on display at all times. For a full catalog of art available for purchase through the Art Consignment Program, visit http://www.keepmemoryalive.org/About/OurFacility/Pages/SupportThroughArt.aspx.

The Center also offers the Cleveland Museum of Art Series – dynamic conversations about art through videoconferencing on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 11 am to noon in the library of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.  On Tuesdays and Fridays, the Center is also open for tours, offering the community a chance to enjoy firsthand the remarkable art and architecture now located in downtown Las Vegas.
