Design Center 101 Back by Popular Demand

Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center is one of the city's best kept secrets. Housed inside the colossal World Market Center, LVDC features more than 30 showrooms that are open to the public Tuesdays through Saturdays.

To introduce locals to this great design resource, LVDC hosts free Saturday morning coffee tours - Design Center 101. The tours, which were hugely popular last spring and very well attended, are back by popular demand. Fall dates are October 8 and 22 and November 5 at 10:30 a.m. in building C. Following a brief overview of the center, guests get a guided walking tour through the Design Center with stops at select showrooms along the way.

According to Randy Wells, vice president of Las Vegas Design Center, consumers aren't fully aware of how the center works. "It's our goal to let the public know just how easy and fun it is to shop here. Plus, we explain how items are priced to show why the public can realize savings from 25 to 40 percent below retail - depending on the showroom. Whether you're looking for a single accessory like a lamp or a rug, or an entire room full of furniture, Las Vegas Design Center is the place to shop."

For more information and to RSVP, visit www.lvdesigncenter.com/events or call (702)599-3093. The Las Vegas Design Center is located at 495 South Grand Central Parkway, Building C, Las Vegas, NV 89106.
